It has been such a great year.
We had so much fun with all of our couples.
I learned SO much this past year.
I feel so very very blessed for all the new friends we have made,
and for the friends that continue to be there for me.
There is something so cool about starting a new year,
starting fresh again,
new opportunities,
a chance to create new goals for yourself,
and endless possibilities!

I hope this New Year brings everyone happiness, love and endless possibilities of growth!

Jordan and Michelle are two INCREDIBLE people.

I mean incredible.

Amazingly sweet, sincere, and beautiful!

Even their families are amazing!

We were so happy to spend our day with these two.

And her dress was to die for! Take a look at her awesome belt on the dress too!
Just gorgeous all around.
Ok... So
I am not one usually to cry, but there are a couple weddings a year
that are just so touching to me I just can't help it.
This was one of them.
These two are just amazingly awesome!
And they are SO IN LOVE!
So when "Luckiest" by Ben Folds came on and they started their first
dance together, I couldn't help but let some excess water escape my eyes.

I am so so happy for these two and

also super happy to have met and become friends with them!

{Sophie Adair} Newborn

This adorable little girl was born December 17th and we took these pictures

when she was only 6 days old!

She was awake the entire time, but just happy as a clam!

We had a great time taking these pictures, and you'll notice

the last couple are on a milk can.

Her mom is a Winder (From the Winder Dairy)

and I thought it would be pretty cute to have a couple!

So this is Christina and her two handsome boys,

and

Mike and his beautiful daughter.

Because this was right before Christmas Mike decided to surprise Christina

with a couple HUGE framed prints.

We had to keep this secret going for a couple weeks:

They were closing on a house both Mike and Christina love, but Christina was lead to believe it wasn't going to happen.
I had to hold their disc a little longer and tell her it was taking longer than usual to finish their pictures.

He surprised her by taking her to their house and having the two framed pictures in the living room.

Then proceeded to tell her that it was now their home together!

How cute is that?!

They are so awesome and we had such a great time with them.

I am probably a teensy bit biased though since it was my little sis and all.

It was great though.

It was a lot of fun and the feeling throughout the day was incredible.

These two are absolutely perfect for each other.

I have known Morgan for years and years, seriously though we went to elementary school together!

So when she asked if we would do her photography I was BEYOND thrilled!

She is just such an amazing person and I can't think of anyone better to complete her than David.

It was so fun going out and doing these photos,

these two are full of energy and excitement and would NOT stop laughing!

I just can't wait for their February wedding.

This has been a very exciting time for everyone involved in their engagement.

About a year ago their engagement had to be cancelled, and

through the good and the bad Kelsey and Guy came out of it stronger than ever.

I am so so happy for these two and I can't even contain it!

They are absolutely perfect for each other and I love that!

They compliment each other so very well and help where the other lacks.

We had so much fun doing these engagements with Devan and Mitch.

They had been dating almost 2 years before he asked her to marry

him, but they fell in love a long time ago.

It's funny because they met through facebook,

started hanging out and next thing you know they are getting married!

They have so much in common and they wanted to incorporate

that into their session.

They both ride dirt bikes and go out a lot in warmer weather, so of course

we had to go out to a track and get some cool pictures.

We went all around North Salt Lake and into Downtown Salt Lake City

for this session and they turned out amazing!

We had so much fun with them and I cannot wait for their March wedding!

So Alaina and I had been emailing for a few weeks and she knew she

wanted to bring props, and make their shoot super cute.

We had been talking back and forth about locations and what we thought

would be best for the feel of the shoot and she told me about an awesome

abandoned house just outside of Tooele.

So we travelled down there and found the house and it was to die for.

I mean it was so so cool!

We got some great family pictures!

Their little man was turning one, so we had to get some shots for his

one year birthday too!

We had so much fun and we had such a great time with them.

Repelling Engagements -Josh & Jenny

Ok, so here's the thing, Josh and Jenny are Fireballs of life!

When we were talking about doing their photos they were like

well... we want to do something different, but let us think about it.

Maybe a day or two later they tell us they want to go to this amazing waterfall

they know about up in Ogden and repel off of it. We were totally up for it, and super excited too!

Ha ha I had no idea what I was in for... Let me just paint this picture for you.

Here's me: Forgot to eat lunch, in skinny jeans and TOMS, carrying my heavy camera bag,

no water to be found.

5 miles later..... Ha ha I was totally unprepared. But the pictures turned out amazing!

We had a fantastic time with these two though. We love them and I am so glad they

have decided to marry each other. They are absolutely perfect for each other and will

always keep each other entertained. I can't wait for your wedding, it's going to

be an amazing ride guys!

Oh Landon....There are too many things that I could say about this boy. We grew up in California together and he is one crazy kid! We have been on many adventures together, and with our families. I am so happy for him and he definitely got one beautiful bride! Vanessa is the most sweet lady I have probably ever met. She is just always beaming with happiness and is so nice and welcoming to everyone she meets.

I feel so lucky and blessed to have friends like the ones in this family. We made the trip in October for Landon's homecoming from Alabama, and we were so blessed to be able to go up again so soon! My family came out from Tennessee to be able to be there as well! It was quite the adventure for all of us.

I am SO so happy for you Landon and Vanessa. We love you both and I wish you both an eternity of happiness together.

On a side note:

We weren't the hired photographer, but it was nice to enjoy all the festivities at one of my good friend's wedding.

...And we got some amazing photos and I felt the need to share a couple of them.

Imagine this...

Gloomy all day long, no rain yet, but gloom for most of the day. Then it started raining.

It was cold, and wet, and Jaron needed his senior pictures. We went out, had

There are so many great things to say about this couple. I think so many of us were waiting for this moment to come and now that it finally has, everyone is so EXCITED!!!

Josh & Nikki have been together for 8 years! Can you believe that? Just like any relationship they've had their ups and downs, and have grown so much stronger together..... and then just when nobody was expecting it he asked her to marry him on the golden gate bridge on her birthday. How cute is that?

I know, I know... We have been big time slackers. There are so many photo shoots from the end of last year that haven't made it to the blog yet. I am so sorry! But we have some exciting news! Ok, so my good friend called me the night before this photo shoot and explained to me that Kami's photographer had cancelled on her twice and desperately needed engagements done so that they could send their invitations out! So the next day we went out and took these photos for them. Kami & Tyson were a lot of fun. One of the most giggly and light hearted couples we have ever met! It was very hard to capture these two not laughing! But they were also very sweet with each other too. All in all they turned out great!

If you didn't know these two and you were walking down the street just observing them you would never find a more perfect couple for each other. The things they do and they way they look at each other is just incredible. One minute they are so sentimental and the next they are making some sweet moves to 'Marky-Mark'. All I can say is I know these two are gonna last an eternity.

Ok... So here is the deal. We are in much much need of posting the 5 sessions that we've had since our last post! It's crazy, and fun, and obviously it's been so so busy in our lives too that we haven't had the time to keep up with everything!! So with this first post these were Bridals we did a few weeks ago at some cool train tracks and at the beautiful Salt Lake temple.

These two are SO fun!!! Always. And also so willing to do just about anything too. These pictures turned out so amazing. You can see the fun they have together and the love they share in everything they do. We couldn't have spent a better afternoon than with these two.

We have done two Missionary sessions, a Senior session, and also Andy & Bonnie's wedding! So keep an eye out for those too. They'll be on here ASAP!
